The Skynax Client

Providing handheld computer control, configuration management, and data communications, the Skynax Client establishes secure connections for mobile applications and transparently executes device configuration changes and the installation of new software packages.

Reliable Connectivity

The Skynax Client accepts requests for the exchange of data from a mobile application and transparently performs all the steps necessary to establish a secure connection with a Skynax Server capable of handling the request. This allows mobile applications to reliably exchange data over various networks using different types of handheld connectivity without the need to provide direct support for each type of device and network used.

Handheld Computer Management

Assuring that each handheld computer is always properly configured and installed with the right version of software, is
the work of the Skynax Client. This application runs transparently in the background of each handheld computer and automatically provisions each computer for use by applying the correct device configuration settings as well as downloading and installing the correct version of the required mobile software.
