Providing authentication, encryption and fail-over capabilities,
the Skynax Gateway secures and directs the exchange of information between mobile computers, Skynax Servers, and your back-office business applications.

Secure Out-Of-The-Box

To assure secure data communications over any network infrastructure that can be used by your mobile computers, the Skynax Gateway auto-configures, when you installation it, to require mobile computer authentication and the encryption of all mobile data communication sessions.

Non-Stop Mobile Business

Mobile data communications are typically critical for maintaining fully functional mobile business systems. To minimize down-time Skynax Gateways monitor the performance of all Skynax Servers in a single Skynax system, and provide fail-over redirection of communications in the event that any Skynax Server stops responding normally.

Furthermore, in a distributed, enterprise implementation of Skynax, individual components of the Skynax system can be shutdown for maintenance without having to halt communications services to all your mobile computer users.

Skynax offers enterprise class performance using its specially designed, highly scalable communications processing kernel. This kernel is capable of utilizing multiple processors in a single server, and in conjunction with a Skynax Gateway, distributing the total processing load across multiple servers.
